Bible Reading Helps

After last night's sermon on 'Listening to God' (for mp3 go here), do people have suggestions on things they have found helpful in their personal Bible reading? Ideas on how to make Bible reading happen regularly, as well as what to read would be helpful I think. Over to you ...

Thanks for posting the MP3. It brings some of the riches of 5pm life to us to don't even show up! Looking forward to listening to it.

I've found that reading out loud really helps me. Also, reading with expression helps.

On the one hand I guess discipline is important -doing it at the same time each day or something like that. On the other hand I go through phases where I really enjoy reading it, look forward to it, get a lot from it; all of which is exactly how it should be if we desire to listen to God... I wish it were like that all the time :)

PS.
MP3's are cool; do you reckon you could put the artist, title, album tags in the file (with eg Windows Media or iTunes) so they're a bit easier to manage within music programs? Cheers!
